Pain vs. Condition

August 20th, 2008 · 4 Comments · Popular Podcasts, Roundtable Discussions

In this podcast, Tom Owen and Dr. Todd Osborne examine the state of our profession and how the lack of a strong chiropractic philosophy has spiralled the profession into the failing pain management model.

Regain passion and purpose as a chiropractor by discovering what it will take to practice successfully into the future. Listen as you learn that it doesn’t consist of the latest gimmick, the latest technique or some faddish marketing strategy.

As an added bonus, the continuation of a roundtable discussion with Dr. Kerry Johnson of Apple Valley, Minnesota is included.

I just finished this episode and I would like to thank you for keeping the fire lit. I have had many ups and downs in chiropractic, until the chiropractors start to realize that the insurance industry is playing a carrot on a stick game, we will continue to have a ruff road.

I agree that pain is not what my treatments are about. But how can I better communicate the power of chiropractic to a medically oriented insurance based community?
